The PEDVAC-iNTS Consortium is present at the 11th EDCTP Forum that takes place from 7-10 November 2023 in Paris, France, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. The Forum theme is “Partnering for Global Health Research Innovation and Impact in Africa – Celebrating EDCTP: two decades and beyond”. This Forum marks the 20th Anniversary of EDCTP’s establishment.
The EDCTP Forum is a biennial event that provides an international platform for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge research addressing the burden of poverty-related infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa and the capacity development and networking activities that support this goal. PEDVAC-iNTS aimed at advancing the development of a novel vaccine against the invasive Non-Typhoidal Salmonellosis has the great opportunity to contribute to this goal.
In particular, on behalf of the PEDVAC-iNTS Consortium two posters entitled “Multi drug resistant invasive non-typhoidal Salmonella in children from two rural communities in Ghana” by Ellis Kobina Paintsil (KCCR/BNITM)” and ” Addressing causes and underfunding of neglected disease of Low-Income Countries (LICs) synergizing national and EU funding” by G. Breghi (SVA) are presented.
