PEDVAC-iNTS is a public-private consortium involving experts from academic institutions, research institutes, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and non- profit organizations. The consortium includes 7 institutions, including an African endemic country. The consortium, composed by selecting each participant on their scientific excellence, technical knowledge and potential role in the project, and avoiding activity overlaps, is characterized by a renowned international expertness on clinical studies, vaccines, iNTS, AMR, poverty-related diseases and project coordination. The partners contribute by their well-recognized expertise in: prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, particularly iNTS; design, development and clinical evaluation of vaccines; global public health, clinical trials, patient cares and antimicrobial/infection control; and vaccine-induced immunity.

The work of each partner, in their respective fields, is globally considered outstanding and original. The high degree of synergy among our participants ensures that the program will be successful completed and that their combined output will be greater than the sum of its parts.

The project is coordinated by Sclavo Vaccines Association (www.sclavo.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to support vaccine research and development.
